Birth, Parentage & Early Roots
The late Mr. Geoffrey Mutiti Mutunga was born in 1947 in Yongoni Village, Kalama Location, Machakos District.
He was the loving son to the late Mutunga Maingi and the late Katena.

Education & Dedicated Service
Geoffrey began his early academic pursuit at Kalama Primary School (1955–1962).
He later proceeded to Machakos Technical Training School (currently Machakos University), pursuing specialized technical craftsmanship. Following graduation, he completed internship training at Ended Company Ltd Nairobi.
National Irrigation Board (N.I.B) — Mwea Station
He was subsequently employed by the National Irrigation Board (N.I.B) at the Mwea Irrigation Scheme station. For decades, he provided steadfast technical service until his honorable retirement in 1996.
